Using Promo Codes

A guide to applying promotional codes to MythX subscriptions and scan packs.

Promo codes are used differently for Subscriptions and Scan Packs, be sure to check the appropriate instructions below.

Applying a Promo Code On A Subscription Plan

To do this, you only need to follow a simple set of steps.

1. Log in to your MythX Dashboard. If you don't yet have an account, see our Getting Started guide.

2. Navigate to the Billing page and select the desired subscription plan by clicking "Upgrade to Developer" or "Upgrade to Pro".

3. You will be presented the checkout page. Select your billing interval (monthly or yearly) and then click "Buy". This will redirect you to Stripe's payment page.

4. On Stripe's payment page add the promo code on the section shown on the screenshot below, in this case, we used the code "MYCODE123". Then click "Apply"

5. If everything is in order you should then see the discounted price displayed. If this is not the case you should reach out to our support team.

Applying Promo Codes to Scan Packs

Scan packs promo codes are applied on the MythX Dashboard and not on Stripe's payment page, unlike promo codes for subscription plans.

1. Log in to your MythX Dashboard. If you don't yet have an account, see our Getting Started guide.

2. Navigate to the Billing page and select the 3 Scan Pack product by clicking "Buy a pack of 3 scans today, for $9.99".

3. You will then be presented the checkout page. Add your promo code and click Buy. You will then be redirected to Stripe's payment page. If an error message reading "Invalid promo code" is displayed, you should contact support.

4. You will be redirected to the Stripe payment page. If your promo code covers 100% of the product's price, the invoice will display as paid and there is no need for further action. If there is still some amount to be paid, Stripe will display the credit card form, to complete the purchase. The promo code's discount will already be reflected in the amount due.
